Hi! - My name is Ted and I live in Southern Maryland, and I have owned 3 compact trucks: a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT extended cab that
I purchased new in December of 1989; a 1994 GMC Sonoma base truck, long bed that I purchased used in 2005, and a 2005 Chevy Colorado base tuck that
I purchased used in 2010, which my daughter now uses as her daily driver with 150,000 miles on it.
I came across information on the RAM 700 when I was looking at what Ford might be trying to do to revive the Ranger. Just for the heck of it, I googled RAM small truck, and I got to the RAM 700. Wow. It is EXACTLY what I am looking for to replace my 2005 Ford Escape, which is my daily driver.
I like the looks of the 700, the utility, the engine, the unibody construction, and the price - provided the prices in Mexico would be roughly similar to what we'd be paying in the U.S.
I'm very excited about this little truck, and would love to order a new one next spring. I wonder if that is a possibility?
